Being the first year the nominations were open to the public, and second year for the H.U.F. Awards, there were 75 nomination applications submitted in the categories of: Solo Warrior, Love Cares, Fatherhood Forever, Village Dad and Living Legacy, where one winner from each category was selected (note: there was a tie in the category of Living Legacy Award). The honorees were as follows:

Over 800 (nearly a 50% increase) guests were in attendance to enjoy brunch and a wonderful program. Kirk Whalum, Brenda Lee Eager, Michael Ward, Jeanette Harris, Najee and Varetta Heidelberg provided entertainment. Michael Colyar served again as Master of Ceremonies.
